Religious Education (CCD)

St. Mary’s Religious Education (CCD) program provides instruction in the Catholic faith and preparation for our young people to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation (Confession), First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.  Classes are held on various days and at various times to accommodate student scheduling. Registration dates for the next school year begin in late Spring and parents are urged to register your child or children as early as possible since there are deadlines that must be met.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

The primary objective of the Children’s Liturgy of the Word is to introduce young children to the basics of the faith through participation in the Mass with a special time for them to hear an explanation of the Scriptures for the day.  The children also sing a song, participate in an activity and finish with a craft before returning to Mass with their parents.  The focus is on children age three to five although not exclusively.  Parishioners who wish to participate in this program, may contact the following:

This is a faith-based week of fun for children four to twelve held in June each summer.
Adults who enjoy teaching children are encouraged to become involved as many volunteers are necessary to make this a successful experience.  Teens are also welcome as Aides.
